Armory Icon #24582 - Free Icons Library
Patch has been Released!
The 0.8.0.1208 update has added the new Interchange map and new game mechanics to Escape from Tarkov We are happy to announce the release of a major update, 0.8.0.1208, for the closed beta version of multiplayer online FPS Escape from Tarkov. This game update introduces the new Interchange map, modern and somewhat atypical compared to the rest of Tarkov locations so far. The Interchange, besides obvious highways, features a huge shopping mall with shops and restaurants. The new location provides conditions for honing new confined space combat tactics. It should be noted that for some time after the update there will not be any AI adversaries on the location, they will be added in the following patches. Also, traditionally, along with a new location, we have introduced a new trader - Ragman, who sells everything related to garments and equipment. We also would like to announce that the current update applied new, experimental methods for optimizing the handling of game physics on client and server, as well as new means to reduce network latency. In addition, specifically for the new Interchange map, new object rendering optimization technology was applied. Over the course of the upcoming testing, these methods will be applied to other locations as well, resulting in an additional performance gain. We admit that in the process of testing the new game update, you may experience various problems associated with new methods of optimization and new game features. All the emerging problems will be processed through the system of bug reports and promptly fixed. Moreover, the launcher was updated as well, along with numerous other fixes and changes. The new EFT update has also introduced a basic training that is going to help new players to understand and master the basic mechanics of the game faster and better. "As promised, we are gradually and continuously introducing new features and realistic mechanics," said Nikita Buyanov, the head of Battlestate Games. "So, after this update, players will have to spend more time on loading and unloading of the magazines, check the number of cartridges in the magazine and chamber. Note that different magazines affect the loading/unloading rate differently, and there is now a new specialized character skill - Mag Drills." Other additions to the game content include new weapons, among them, the Springfield Armory M1A, Remington 870, AAR, APB and new models of AK including 100-series as well as numerous items for weapon modification. Overall, more than 60 new gear and equipment items were added to the game, including bags and vests, body armors and helmets, weapon modifications, ammunition and medicine cases, hats, glasses, and balaclavas. A detailed list of the new equipment was previously posted on our official website of the game and in the social network communities. You can find the patch notes below! Finally, the update has been combined with the long-anticipated profile reset (wipe). The following updates, among other improvements and changes, are going to further improve the project performance, network quality, bug fixes, and add new game combat mechanics. Soon, Escape from Tarkov is scheduled to feature the advanced armor system, flea market, Hideout and other features that were mentioned in the plans for 2018. Development and testing of the future innovations are already underway. Also, the test results of this update will have a crucial influence on deciding the Open Beta launch date. We are sure you are excited for all this as much as we are.
Please take note that first hours after the update servers may experience heavy load leading to increased matching time possible network delays. Please, take into consideration that this update is a part of the Closed Beta testing. Some of the introduced innovations can potentially lead to previously unknown issues or bugs. Please be sure to report all discovered issues through the launcher built-in bug report system. This will help fix them promptly. This update comes with a profile reset/wipe. All bonus gears can be obtained again from your profile. Added:
Loading and unloading ammo rounds now require time
Now, the character doesn’t initially know the number of cartridges in the magazine. Check the magazine to see the ammo remaining. Check precision depends on the Mag Drills skill. A full description of the expected behavior can be found here
Time-consuming loading/unloading of ammo
Loading/unloading of ammo into the magazine does not happen instantly. The time required to load/unload one cartridge may vary depending on the magazine and the level of the new skill, Mag drills.
Time is spent on loading and unloading ammo in the raid only, in the menu the procedures stay the same as before.
Loading and unloading can only be done with inventory open. If you close it or switch tabs, loading or unloading is interrupted. The cartridges that were already loaded into the mag, stay in it (and vice versa in case of unloading).
Only one magazine can be loaded or unloaded simultaneously.
The Info window displays the loading/unloading and mag check speed bonus if it is not 0.
If you’ve started loading an empty mag, or unloading a full one, the precise number of rounds is displayed.
Checking mags, hidden precise number of cartridges in the magazine
By default, it is unknown how many cartridges are in the mag, if it is not examined (hereinafter referred to as "Unknown/Checked"). Mag counter displays an unknown number of cartridges. For example: (?/30)
Check accuracy is determined by new "Mag Drills" skill.
The magazine can be checked either by animation - Alt+T or through the interface by Right-clicking and selecting Check magazine.
If you checked the number on the 0 skill level, then it returns "~empty" - "<1/2" - "~1/2" - ">1/2" - "~full". As skill level 1 an approximate number will be shown. On level 2 - the precise amount of ammo will be provided.
Full and empty mags are considered to be checked.
All the magazines you take into the raid are checked automatically.
Loading/unloading a checked mag doesn’t change the state, it remains checked.
After firing, the number of cartridges in the magazine become unknown.
Ammo check precision now depends on the Mag Drills skill, not on Weapon Mastering.
Outside of the raid, the number of cartridges is always displayed precisely.
If you have dropped a checked mag and picked it back up, it remains checked. If someone picked it up and dropped it again, it becomes unknown to you.
Checking the chamber
The chamber also requires checking. Bnly by animation using the key binding Shift + T.
If you load the cartridge into an unknown chamber, it automatically becomes checked.
If the shot was fired from a checked mag (first shot), the chamber remains checked. Otherwise, it becomes unknown as well.
New skill Mag Drills
Speeds up ammo loading
Speeds up ammo unloading
Speeds up magazine checks in inventory
Elite levels allow you to automatically check the mag when you move it in inventory, and make loading even faster.

How do I stop an application running in the background (in Linux-Ubuntu)?
I have bitcoin Armory wallet installed. This application automatically opens the Bitcoin Core client when it (Armory) is started. However, when I close Armory down the Bitcoin Core continues to run in the background and I can see it to shut it down. You may well ask how I know it is running at all (as I can't see its icon) - well, if you know Bitcoin Core, you will know that it occupies a lot of RAM. Presently I have to shut down the pc and restart - this rids one of the Bitcoin Core. But I would be surprised if there is not a way to do this without shutting the pc down - perhaps through a terminal command? I should be most grateful for any help. Thanks, DB
Disk Digger Pro Apk || DiskDigger Importance || Recover Lost Files
In the Present scenario, Technology is growing too fast and we all are experiencing that our smartphone, PC, and Laptops carrying various files with the help of SD cards and internal memory. We will think that our files are in very secure places but if any file deleted unexpectedly then what you will do?. Don't worry, I already told you that tech is growing as fast as it can. Here I'm going to discuss the bestdata recovery services aka (DiskDigger) which are a perfect example of it. Let's go down to get more details of DiskDigger(Deep file recovery from any drive). DiskDigger is a tool which can recover deleted files like photos, documents, music, video and much more. DiskDigger Features: DiskDigger can recover lost files from most types of media that your computer can read: hard disks, USB flash drives, memory cards, CDs, DVDs, and floppy disks. (Note: Make sure that you have to connect your device with a USB port to recover lost data from Android and IOS devices ). And one more important thing is you have to download the diskdigger app on your android phone to recover lost files. Suppose if your Android device uses a microSD card for saving the data, please remove the card and connect it directly to your PC using a card reader, so that you can scan it directly using DiskDigger for Windows.) DiskDigger has two processes which you have to choose every time while scanning a disk. These methods are named as “dig deep” and “dig deeper“. Dig Deep:
Undelete files from FAT (FAT12, FAT16, FAT32), NTFS, and exFAT partitions.
Recover any type of file.
Filter recoverable files by name and size.
Sort recoverable files by name, size, date, and directory.
Scan (carve) entire disk for traces of specific file types.
View recoverable files as a list, or as thumbnail previews.
Thumbnails will show previews of image files, album art from MP3 and WMA files, and icons from executable files!
Selecting a recoverable file brings up a full preview of the file (insofar as possible). For image files, it will show the image (with pan and zoom). For document files, it will show a text-only preview of the document. For certain audio files, it will allow you to play back the sound.
Previews of JPG and TIFF files will show EXIF information (camera model, date taken, sensor settings, etc.).
Previews of MP3 files will show ID3 information (artist, album, genre, etc.).
Previews of ZIP files will show a list of files contained in the archive.
Able to scan virtual disk image files:
E01 and EWF files (Expert Witness Format)
VMDK files (VMware disk image)
VHD files (Microsoft Virtual Hard Disk)
VDI files (VirtualBox disk image)
Direct binary disk images (acquired with dd or similar tools)
When digging deeper, ability to start scanning from a specific location on the disk.
When previewing files, the program optionally shows the first 4K bytes of the file as a hex dump.
Mini rant. I was happy using bitcoin-qt for quite a few months now, It had gave me a few headaches, sometimes the database was corrupted or something, just re-index it. It worked fine. I always exit bitcoin-qt before shutting down the computer, to never let this happen again, but it happens from time to time. Anyway, five days ago, it started again with the database problem. I tried to reindex it, delete last blocks and reindex it, nothing was working. So, OK, screw it, delete all (except wallet file) and let download the whole blockchain again. ... Well... it stopped syncing after a while. It tells me that I need to update the client. Other times I it tells me it's syncing, but it shows a 0 blocks indexed (and no arrows icon on bottom-right). After 5 days, I just delete everything (again) and started from 0. I don't like the idea of thin client, but for the moment I've downloaded MultiBit, I read that Armory works on top of bitcoin-qt, should I try it or I will have the same problems? I know this is my problem, not a problem with bitcoin-qt itself, it worked very good for months. I don't think it's a network problem (I have a good connection), not a software problem (Debian Squeeze), as I said, I exit the program before the computer. Just a mini-rant about all this. I'm also concerned this happens to less techie people, they could easily delete the wallet file, or just get tired of bitcoins because of similar problems with the programs.
The trezor is nice, but most people don't want to go through the trouble of buying an expensive piece of hardware. This creates a chicken and egg problem since the average consumer thinks bitcoin is insecure, and until they buy bitcoin they will not learn about/invest in hardware wallets. The current best solution is to boot a livecd/usb with necessary packages pre-installed (or copied onto the usb). Then, using armory or electrum, the user is supposed to set up a paper wallet. This is a PITA, and it's even worse considering we're not supposed to trust printers to print this wallet. My recommendation is to make a USB boot disk: - A. with a verifiable build (iso) and hash - B. be based on tails or some other secure operating system. This should be flexible enough to allow people to go online and buy things, but it should also be secure enough to not allow a normal user to shoot themselves in the foot when it comes to security. - C. have several wallets pre-loaded or easily installed (icons on the desktop). Since most people have usb drives, there just needs to be a way to install it using one computer and verifying it using that computer or aonther computer. I've tried having my grandfather install Tails, and the experience left something to be desired. He has no way of knowing (besides my word) that the Tails ISO is not compromised (checking involves gpg and getting sigs from multiple sites). Installing things on tails sucks. The regular instructions for Electrum doesn't work on tails.. and I had to handle packages and dependencies manually. And of course, keeping persistent wallets isn't free -- and involves some kind of encrypted LUKS storage. So the pieces are all there, but it needs to be dead simple (Apple simple). I know we can do this as a community, and I have plenty of linux experience that could be contributed. What do you guys think?
I am having a problem with my first transaction with Msigna and am looking for help. I have been unable to find an answer by searching the internet so I am writing this post. I sent a transaction to an address I wish to send funds to but the confirmation status is “unsent” after several hours of waiting. I am running Bitcoin-Qt and the blockchain is completely downloaded and synced. The icon in Msigna is a green circle with a check in it and it is connected. However the funds seem to be stuck locally and have not appeared in blockchain.info. I have installed the latest version and imported my vault (and updated schema) but the status remains the same. Am I doing something wrong? How do I recover my un-sent funds? How do I export the private keys so that I can import into another wallet like Multibit or Armory? Any help would be greatly appreciated… Thanks!!
Estimated total time: Up to 2 hours, not including blockchain downloading. You can install this on a VPS, a spare PC, or on your own PC. You can install it in Virtualbox on your own PC, or into Windows. If you just want to try it out, I recommend installing in Virtualbox.
After installing Ubuntu in Virtualbox, to make it fullscreen you will need Guest Additions. Run these commands by clicking on the swirl icon top right, typing ter and opening Terminal: sudo apt-get install build-essentials module-assistant and then sudo m-a prepare Before selecting Devices > Insert Guest Additions CD image, telling Ubuntu to install them, and shutting down. //Thanks go to http://www.binarytides.com/vbox-guest-additions-ubuntu-14-04 for those instructions.//
Next I went into the Virtual Machines settings and changed Network Adapter 1 to be "Attached to Bridged Network" instead of "Attached to NAT".
After booting the machine back up, I followed the steps here: https://bitcoin.org/en/full-node/#linux-instructions And installed both bitcoin-qt and bitcoind. Skip over the parts where you edit bitcoin-qt's settings to start at boot, or edit cron to start bitcoind at boot, since this will interfere with using armory.
I then started up Armory in Offline Mode by clicking on the swirl icon top left and typing Armory. In the program, after clicking Skip, I scrolled down slightly, clicked on Download Bitcoin, Download, and agreed to let it do whatever it wanted to; (which was download and install Satoshi).
I then closed Armory Offline and opened Armory, which began downloading the blockchain from a torrent. I then went into File > Settings (top left of your screen, near the swirl; menu options will appear once the mouse hits that taskbar) and personally chose to Disable OS and version reporting. There is a setting here for "Enable settings for proxies/Tor" but I haven't ticked it yet, since I haven't set Tor up.
Should I add a user to run bitcoin as, and should that user be on the sudoers list or not (this is the list of users that can type sudo and then after authenticating run most commands an administrator account can).
Will Armory or bitcoind start on boot? Do I need to login for this to happen? I know I missed the above steps in bitnodes guide regarding starting up bitcoin-qt or bitcoind on boot, this was because it seemed to prevent me from opening Armory (it would report bitcoin-qt or bitcoind were already running).
How can I broadcast transactions over Tor.
If I want to broadcast transactions over Tor, but not receive incoming connections over Tor, is that a problem for the health of the Bitcoin Tor network? Or will those transactions be broadcast out to "clearnet" nodes, as opposed to hidden ones?
What tweaks can I make to bitcoin.conf? I don't even know how to tweak it, I'd like to provide some connection slots to testnet if I'm not already. Since I'm using armory I don't know if it'll be bitcoind or armory will need configuring (I think it's bitcoind).
Thanks to all writers of articles referenced here for your help. By the way, even if you don't want to run a bitcoin node full time, I've read that running one even 6 hours a day is useful. These are instructions for ubuntu but you can also run it from Windows on the same machine you work on (I don't know about privacy implications). Perhaps someone should write an article about running a bitcoin node on your PC at work!
